Research Experience

My research focuses on educational leadership as it unfolds through processes of organizational change and decision-making in times of uncertainty and systemic disruption. I investigate how school leaders respond to complex challenges—particularly in crisis-affected and resource-constrained contexts—by examining the conditions that shape their agency, choices, and strategic action. Central to my work is a commitment to equity and cultural responsiveness, which I view not as outcomes but as guiding frameworks for transformative leadership. I explore how socially and contextually grounded practices—especially those informed by social-emotional learning (SEL) and mindfulness—can serve as tools for building adaptive capacity, emotional intelligence, and inclusive school cultures. Through this lens, my research aims to support the development of resilient leadership that drives meaningful, justice-oriented change in education systems.
